Himalayan Salt Lamp 2-3kg

This is naturally occurring salt crystal from the foothills of the Himalayas. The salt is collected from mines 800m below the ground. It is thought to have natural de-ionizing properties which are beneficial to health.

This Salt Lamp is made from 100% natural Himalayan salt.

Salt is a natural crystal (Sodium Chloride) and attracts moisture from the air around it.

We recommend keeping your salt lamp in a dry warm environment, like a bedroom or living room.  Do not expose your salt lamp to damp or cold environments as it will get wet, melt your lamp and make a mess of whatever it’s standing on.

Setting up your Himalayan salt lamp

1. Purchase a 15w Pygmy screw cap bulb(available from most supermarkets, sold as fridge bulbs).
2. Remove the plastic film from around the salt lamp.
3. Screw the light bulb firmly into the power cable fitting.
4. Gently push in the metal clips and insert in the fitting into the base of the salt lamp until the metal clips spring into place.
5. Check the power point is switched OFF.
6. Plug in the power cable into the power point.
7. Turn on the power, and your salt lamp is ready to go!                                                                     We recommend placing your salt lamp on a protective mat or decorative plate to avoid it marking your furniture. 

Your salt lamp is supplied with an electrically tested power lead, rocker switch and plug fitted with a 3 amp fuse. (IF YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE FUSE DO NOT USE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A 3 AMP FUSE).
